First Day of Summer

Memorial Day is considered by many to be the first day of summer - so we went to the beach. Dave, Danielle, Alethia, Janell, Ben and Alaina joined us. What a GREAT time!

Babies

The grandbabies are growing up fast! Patrick is now 3+ months old.

Alethia is 11 months old.

Things change SO quickly.

10 Months (and a few days)

Alethia is always curious when I get out the camera. Now that she is VERY mobile, it makes it hard to get a picture of her from the distance. As soon as she hears the camera beep, she heads directly for it.

Danielle was feeding Alethia her lunch in this picture. (It is much easier to take pictures of her when she is corralled.) Notice those two front teeth? They are just two of twelve that she now has in her little mouth.

Grandpa took the baby girl for a walk. She is not so much a baby anymore, but rapidly gaining toddler status. She crawls quickly, pulls herself up and cruises around furniture and even switches from one piece of furniture to another. Her balance is good, but she is not quite confident enough to let go and walk.
