Alethia turned 1 on June 19. Some of the family went to the boardwalk in Solomon's Island to get ice cream cones. Alethia had her own cone. 
The next day we went to the National Zoo in Washington, DC. This is one of the pandas at the zoo.
Alethia and her dad got to feel the fur of a small monkey.

Patrick got acquainted with a gorilla. It was a great day!
